Greetings from Prathana Hankham, owner and founder of Impressive Mobile Bling! An 80s baby born in Thailand and raised in America. Now residing in North Carolina, I am a middle child; the only girl, with two brothers. I moved to the United States when I was 6 years old and my family moved around a lot. I was introduced to a lot of different styles and trends that caught my attention. One thing that always caught this girly girl's eye was Hello Kitty and her friends. The "kawaii" style/aesthetic and anime inspired fashion was appealing to me from very early on and has stuck with me into my adulthood.

My parents always made sure I had what I needed, but as I got older I began buying all the things I wanted and was not able to get as a child. Next thing I know, I was collecting random Sanrio stationary, dolls, crafts, etc. Fast-forward to present day and I have a fully decorated display area full of my Hello Kitty collection. As the collection keeps growing, I will soon have it available to share and sell with others.

Although I was not blessed with an artistic hand to draw like my brothers, I once dreamed of being able to come out with my own Kawaii clothing line with my own original characters. However, because I was not the best drawer, I found content in coloring and puzzles which now have become the foundation of my crafting/press on nail business. I started getting my nails done at 14 years old and back then the airbrush style was trending heavily.

 

From then on I have always been amazed by nail design and the growth and evolution of it over the years. I always loved a "junk" or "kawaii" style of nail design as well, however many technicians charge top dollar for quality designs. Back then, I wasn't able to afford hundred dollar nail sets but I never found simple nails attractive. One Christmas I was gifted a press on nail set and some rhinestone charms and I made my own Hello Kitty nail set. I got so many compliments on them that I eventually got the confidence to try making my own customized nail sets that could be affordable for myself and my friends. Now I no longer spend hundreds of dollars at the nail salon and am able to save some money in today's tough economy.

My girls loved the nail sets I made them so much that they began asking me what other things I could bling out for them. Now, from lighters, tumblers, ashtrays to lip gloss trinket trays and more have led to the birth of Impressive Mobile Bling.

The cute, adorable style makes my clients of all ages happy. Whether its customizing something special and seeing the smiles on their faces or starting an Impressive Collection with all colors and style tumblers, there isn't much simple about my style to say the least. I am willing to cater to a simple aesthetic upon request, but freestyles will most often be over the top bling !  My style is cute, fun, creative and out of this world. Making my clients happy makes me happy.
